Family Fun Day 2007 Hi all, Family Fun Day, our school’s major fundraiser, is fast approaching. If you happen to be unfamiliar with Family Fun Day please visit the school’s web site and click the Family Fun Day icon on the home page (Mrs. Sharpe has done a wonderful job of showing all the fun of the day). Alternatively feel free to call me should you have any questions. Family Fun Day is on Sunday 3rd of June, and starts at 11.00am and finishes at 4.30pm. More details about the day will be released over the next 4 to 5 weeks in the Family Fun Day Newsletter which will be part of our School’s Newsletter as of next week. Convenors are asked to supply all material for the FFD Newsletter to Melissa Maxworthy who will collate the information and present it on time to the school for printing. We are in need of convenors for the following stalls. Without your help we cannot run these stalls… which means less money to be raised for our school.
There can be variation in the way you run the stall……. For instance: o Maybe you would like to take on a stall with friend o Some stalls are just organising outside contractors (only requires communications with them on the lead up to the day and see that they get in the right space on the day) o Some stalls are just set-up and take down on the day. o We have developed an Event Manual describing what to do. Remember we need your support to put this day together so, please give me or another member of the committee a call. You will have fun and you will also get to meet many other people in our school community. At this meeting we will discuss the plans for this year’s Fun Day and hand out the Convenor packs.
