Our Annual Athletics Carnival for 2009 will be held on Wednesday 29th July at Pennant Hills Oval, Pennant Hills.
We will be travelling by bus. The whole school participates in the events and, as well as the winners, all entrants earn points for their house.
All students must assemble at 8:45am. We will depart school at 9:00am.
CLOTHING: Children are to wear sports uniform. Spikes may be worn for the 100m and the 200m (and for the race only).
No bare feet!
COST: $4:00
REQUIREMENTS: Lunch & Morning Tea, water & drinks, sunscreen & hats in a backpack or bag.
CANTEEN is available for lunch only for students and visitors. Canteen lunches will need to be pre-ordered.

Permission notes have been sent home and should have been returned to your child’s teacher.  We again hope for a positive response  from parents who are able to help at the carnival.  Notification of how these parents can assist will be forwarded home to those concerned before the carnival. Parents and extended family are invited to attend the carnival. 
Children can be dismissed
at the end of the carnival but this requires communication for the parent to the child’s teacher. 
Please provide a note if your child is to return home with a friend's parent. The remainder will return to school by bus and make their way home at the normal time.
It would be helpful if all student belongings taken to the carnival are labelled with their name to avoid lost property.

N.B. Back up date is 6th August
We have House Cheers and the House with the best cheers gets points for the House.
